Last Wednesday, 23rd of June 2010, a tragic and disheartening event happened.
Wodner Girls' leader Sunye has lost her father to a long term illness. It was said that Sunye or Sun (as she is popularly known in the U.S) was promoting in South East Asia and supposedly be at Hawaii to start their second leg of their World Tour.
Sadly, she hurriedly came back to South Korea on the 23rd upon hearing the news of her father's death. Her father, Son Ho Jun, was visited by Sunye early morning of June 24 at the Asan Medical Center.
Around 11:10am of that same day, a hymn could be heard from the room Sunye was in. Knowing she is a devoted Christian, anyone could hear her genuine emotions of sadness from her song. Afterwards, she came face to face with reporters upong going out of the room and seemed very much pale although she forced a smile on her face.
The wake will take place for three days and will end today - June 26 - where Sunye’s father will finally come to rest at the Christian Gold Park.
Anyone who is suffering a death of dear loved one will most likely become physically and emotionally weak. But with the support and love Sunye begets from the people around her, I hope she recovers sooner. May her father rest in peace with God and may the family of the departed find acceptance and will to continuing moving forward.

"Time never heals the pain, it only helps us learn to live without them and move on."
